Fun – THE TWILIGHT SAD Rockness 2011
2011/06/15Sunday 12th June 2011.
Every year its the same, I tell myself I will avoid festivals and end up at them anyways… here is what is my second festival of the year after Groezrock… unless you consider Stagg And Dagger a festival, then it would make it my third!
Leaving at 7am after a long night until about 3am the previous night, here I head to Rockness for the day.
A 4hours something drive from Glasgow where I sleep for most of the time and miss out on landscapes, conversations and such.
Arriving there, it is an interesting set up and crowd we find here. Quite intimate and rather empty… The camping does not even seem to hold that many people but I guess we didn’t witness it in its entirety. The Loch Ness is here though but I fail to find any monster…
I am still trying to recover from the Saturday and The Twilight Sad are about to hit the stage. Armed by a litter of cider and black I then head to watch… good set from the guys – my first Twilight experience as of such and glad to discover something different but still very approachable for most of the crowd here. People were finally there to watch even though it is only gone 2pm and the rain has been.
