Wednesday 7th October 2010.
Art London opened its doors tonight at the Royal Hospital in Chelsea.

An exclusive crowd was present, on the lookout for new up and coming artists to follow, or in order to get their hands first on some of the rare pieces exhibited here.

From world famous artists to newcomers, the diversity is there for everyone to enjoy.
The exhibition is organized in a succession of more or less bigger booths each allocated to a certain gallery where they are displaying some of their artists’ best pieces for everyone to see or even purchase. Those interested in a purchase can also request to see some more art that might be hidden from the general public in the back cupboard.
There is art for almost every taste and budget and it is a never ending maze for the eyes.

Textures, themes and funny things.

This one and it’s title particularly attracted my eye.

This is what a world of little people could be like.
I somehow ended up here as a friend from back in France started his own art company called HK Art Agency and acting as an agent: http://www.hkartagency.fr
One of his artists Chris Carolina had the honour to have an impressive display at the exhibition within the Marc Hachem’s Gallery http://www.markhm.com/.

Check his work out, a mix of fashion photography and paintings: http://www.chris-carolina.blogspot.com/

I have had a little sneak through what might be the upcoming art and it is definitely worth a look!
Other than the pleasure of the eyes and soul, our taste buds were spoilt as well with showers of champagne and canapes.

A gallery worth having a look if you are in the London area, it is on until Monday!
